About Mindy
Mindy has been a podcast host since 2019, and piano teacher since 1991 to students ages kindergarten to adult, in Michigan and Minnesota. Mindy began taking piano lessons at the age of 6, and music and the piano have been an integral part of her life ever since. Mindy loves listening to live music, expressing herself through music, learning more about the benefits of music, and passing on a love of music to her students. Mindy plays piano/keys at her local church in Eden Prairie.
A graduate of Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mindy is a Nationally Certified Music Teacher. Mindy is the Arts Advocacy Chair of the Minnesota Music Teachers Association (MMTA); on the Board of West Suburban Music Teachers Association (WSMTA); and a member of Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), National Federation of Music Clubs, and Chain of Lakes Music Club.
When not making or listening to music, Mindy enjoys bicycling in the beautiful Minnesota outdoors, reading, and spending time with her husband and two teenage children.
